History & Legacy
How and When it Began
Building a Safe Haven
As the need for recovery-friendly environments grew, The Sun Club became a trusted space for group meetings, educational workshops, and wellness activities — free from alcohol and drugs. Our halls became a symbol of hope and belonging for the community.
Our Beginning
Founded in 1988, The Sun Club Inc. began as a small fellowship hall for individuals seeking support beyond addiction and recovery programs. What started as a community initiative soon grew into a non-profit organization serving hundreds of people every week.
Expanding Our Reach
Over time, we expanded to serve multiple 12-Step groups including Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Cocaine Anonymous, and others. Our facilities in Ketchum and Hailey now host over 50 meetings each week, creating a lasting impact on countless lives.
