Anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome.

Speaking in meetings is optional.

The AA Preamble states that AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. 

AA believes in achieving sobriety one day at a time. Members are free to come and go as they please.

We believe in Anonymity. Tradition 12 states that Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
